Danielle Shorr // Los Angeles, California

I often find myself at a complete loss of words, and it takes someone else to be able to find them for me. Even better, sometimes I actually get to photograph those inspiring artists and bring you their work here. Writer and poet Danielle Shorr is immensely talented, and I got to spend a bit of time taking her picture and enjoying her company recently. Her book of poetry, "I Will Regret This In The Morning," is set to be released winter 2015. From "Let," one of my favorites:

"You could tie my tongue
My lips, my teeth
Split them into surrender
Into a foreign language
And I would still manage
To cough up your name"
